Telangana Auto Drivers Back State Bandh

Hyderabad, Oct.13 (Maxim News): Telangana Auto Drivers JAC on Sunday decided to participate in the Statewide Bandh on October 19 in support of RTC strike and in response to the TSRTC JAC appeal. The Statewide Auto Bandh decision was also taken demanding that the Telangana government provide Rs 10,000 financial assistance to every auto and take steps towards enforcing total prohibition in the Telangana State like AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy did it.

In a press statement today, Telangana Auto Drivers JAC convener Mohd Amanullah Khan alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was adopting cruel policy and inhuman approach. He also alleged that due to the apathy of KCR government, the existing auto fares remained unchanged for the last six years. Khan regretted that RTC employees and Auto Drivers played a key role in the Telangana Movement and achieved statehood. (Maxim News)
