Hyderabad, Sept. 30 (Maxim News) : The Telangana Cabinet is scheduled to meet on Thursday, October 1, at the state Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
The meeting is expected to discuss several important issues concerning the state, including welfare schemes, development programmes and administrative matters.
The meeting comes amid discussions over pending issues involving government employees, revenue matters and irrigation projects. According to reports, the Cabinet is also expected to review the financial implications of recent decisions.

Two pending Dearness Allowances for government employees and pensioners were reported as cleared by the Telangana government on September 23. The decision is expected to benefit state government employees, teachers and pensioners.
Earlier reports had indicated that the Cabinet could discuss the financial burden and fund arrangements linked to implementing the two DAs from the Dasara period.
The Cabinet is also expected to take up issues related to Dharani and Section 22-A of the Registration Act. These matters have been the subject of continuing discussions within the state administration.
The Kaleshwaram project could also figure in the meeting, particularly the feasibility of using the project to provide irrigation water. Other issues connected with welfare and development programmes may also come up for discussion.
The Cabinet meeting is scheduled amid a busy policy agenda for the state government. Final decisions on individual issues will depend on the discussions and approvals taken during the meeting. (Maxim News)
