Telangana Cabinet Meeting On 29th: Key Desicions On BC Reservations & Local Body Elections
Hyderabad, Aug 25 (Maxim News): The state cabinet meeting has been postponed to August 29. Although the cabinet meeting was originally scheduled for the 25th, the Congress party‘s stance on the conduct of elections to local bodies remained unclear at the meeting of its political affairs committee held on Saturday.
Despite the plan to go to the elections, the Congress party has formed a committee of ministers to consult with legal experts. The party will officially announce its stance after the committee submits its report. In this context, it is reported that CM Revanth Reddy intends to hold a cabinet meeting and take a decision on the local body elections only after the party’s stance is clear. (Maxim News)
