Telangana Farmers Burns BJP Manifesto

Farmers in Nizamabad have burnt the copies of the BJP manifesto announced for Tamil Nadu ahead of Assembly elections. They expressed anger over the BJP for promising Turmeric Board to Tamil Nadu and deceiving the Telangana farmers. The BJP assured to set up a Turmeric Board in Nizamabad in previous general elections.

However, the BJP went back on its promise and now offered an extension centre of the Spices Board. Telangana farmers questioned the rationale of the Modi government for promising the Turmeric Board to Tamil Nadu when Telangana produces more turmeric than Tamil Nadu.
