Telangana: Former MP And BJP Leader Ramesh Rathod Passed Away

Hyderabad, June 29 (Maxim News): Former MP and BJP leader Ramesh Rathore passed away. He fell ill at his residence in Utnoor on Friday midnight and was rushed to a private hospital in the district center by his family members.

The family members said that he died on the way while being shifted to Hyderabad as his condition worsened.  His dead body is being shifted to his hometown Utnoor.  Ramesh Rathod has worked as the chairman of Zilla Parishad, president of Adilabad district, and MLA of Khanapur for a long time.  There is a rumor that there is a side effect after fat surgery.  Ramesh Rathore who was suffering from this problem for a long time passed away today. It is known that senior Congress leader D.Srinivas passed away this morning.  The death of two leaders on the same day cast a pall over the state.

Telugu Desam Party

Ramesh Rathore was elected as Narnoor ZPTC from the Telugu Desam Party for the first time.  Served as a member of Legislator for Khanapur (ST Reserved) legislative Assembly Constituency from Telugu Desam Party for two terms.  Ramesh Rathore was a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly between 1999-2004.  He was the Chairman of Adilabad Zilla Parishad from 2006 to 2009.  In 2009, he contested for the 15th Lok Sabha and served as a member of Parliament.  Later he joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.  After a few months, he said goodbye to the party and joined the Congress party and contested the Khanapur Legislative Assembly and Adilabad Parliament but lost.

Later he left the Congress party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2021.  In 2023, he contested the Khanapur Legislative Assembly from the Bharatiya Janata Party and lost. (Maxim News)
