Telangana Government Crocodile Tears Over Weavers
Hyderabad, May 25 (Maxim News): IT Minister KTR’s statement that their Government is making Rs 90 crore available to weavers to ease their operations and to combat economical crisis thrown by Corona.
Dasu said in a press statement that it is unfortunate to see the government dictating that the weavers.
They are struggling with Working capital issues have to use their own money which they deposited in the Thrift fund . It is saved by weavers to cater their long-term needs.
Several comments were made by Dasu Suresh to the media in an internal discussion they had set up internally within Weavers United JAC.
Dasu said that the government do not pay attention to the issues of weavers such as increasing the lending capacity at banks, Corona Crisis support fund, setting up grants and buying the accumulated cloth produces at the ground.
He also said that the state government is incapable of taking into consideration of all aspects of Weavers issues.
They are implementing a defective 50 per cent Yarn subsidy scheme and providing yearly Rs 24,000 investment assistance as adjacent states.
Dasu asked the minister KTR that how many times the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park will be reviewed, which he discussed in the media on Saturday .
Migrant weaver workers arrived at their home few years ago considering the Mega Textile Park to be functional soon amid government failure, they were Unable to cope with the delay and returned to their work places like Bhivandi, Sholapur, Surat, Maharashtra and Gujarat have been trapped in Corona lockdown and the unidentified threat of over 2 lakh upwelling.
Dasu said The minister has to answer as to why the 50 per cent yarn subsidy promised by the government is not fully implemented. The TRS Government has completely weakened the political opportunities of the weavers. The weavers fraternity leaders of the TRS Party, however, has to open their eyes and has to stand in favour of weavers, leaving their personal opportunities aside in their political party
Dasu also questioned The reason for the lack of attention of Minister KTR to the fraudulent Practise of corporate shopping malls, which have become a spoof of the handloom industry.. he also asked What about the 5 lakh free insurance that kTR announced three years ago during the 2018 election campaign in Sircilla ?
The government should avoid embracing such incidents with weavers .Nevertheless, they need to keep up with the all-party meeting and continue their efforts to alleviate the difficulties of the weavers Dasu Suresh added . (Maxim News)
