Air Travellers Follow Lockdown Norms : CS

Hyderabad, May 25 (Maxim News): As domestic flight services started from Shamshabad International Airport after two months of Covid -19 lockdown, necessary arrangements are made for smooth travel, according to Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar.

Censors have been put in place in the Airport to avoid touching the passengers . He inspected the airport with officials here during restart.

Talking to media persons Somesh Kumar said that 1600 passengers in 19 flights coming to Hyderabad. Another 19 flights will carry the passengers to other cities in the country he said. He said that Covid tests are being conducted at the airport to travellers who have to follow Arogya Sethu, lockdown norms. Everyone has to wear masks, use sanitizers and cooperate to break corona pandemic, he said. As per central guidelines and the state government all those using flight services should follow the rules to combat the virus effects. Government and airport authorities guidelines have to be followed by the air travellers.

Those who came from other states are being tested for corona he said. However no one has tested positive he said adding that they are needless to have 14 days quarantine. The lockdown measures are to contain corona chain, he added. Physical distance, sanitising is must for travellers. Both luggages and vehicles will be sanitised through special tunnels at the airport.
