Telangana Govt Key Decision: Change The Names Of Two Peojects
Hyderabad, Jan 24 (Maxim News): The Telangana government has taken another key decision. Following the cabinet decision, the names of the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project and Singur Projects have been changed. The state irrigation department issued orders to this effect.

In memory of former Union Minister Jaipal Reddy, the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation project has been named after him. The Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme has been named as S.Jaipal Reddy PRLI Project.
Along with the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project, the state government has also changed the name of the Singur project. The Singur project was named after Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha’s father and late Congress leader Rajanarsimha. The government has issued orders naming the Singur project as the Sitarampur Rajanarasimha Project. (Maxim News)\
