Telangana Heavy Rains: Lowland Areas Flooded

The state has received heavy to very heavy rains in the last 24 hours. The highest rainfall of 23.9 cm was recorded in Sitaram town of Bhadradri Kothagudem. 16.16 cm heavy rain was recorded in Pochampally in the Karimnagar district.

Over 14.8 cm in Gudur in Mehbubabad, 14.6 in Jayashankar Bhupalapalli 13.2 cm in Thaira Mallapur in Jagitya, 13.1 in Kataram in Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, 12.2 in Ramagundam in Peddapalli, 12.1 in Kaleswaram in Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, 12.1 in Koyyur in Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, 11.9 in Kogurur in Jagitya, 11.9 in Kotagiri in Nizamabad.

Jaggasagar in Jagitya, 10.9 in Magnapet in Mulugu, 10.8 in Venello in Manchiryala, and 10.7 cm in Govindaram in Jagitya. Apart from light to moderate rains in the city, heavy rains were recorded in the Rajendranagar area. Heavy rain of 9.2 cm was received in Indra Nagar, while seven cm of rain fell in Sivarampally in Rajendranagar.

In Hyderabad
