Hyderabad, March 22 (Maxim News): The High Court of Telangana heard the petition filed by Vijaya Reddy, a candidate of the Congress party, claiming that the election of Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender was invalid, the bench headed by Justice Vijayasen Reddy took up the investigation and issued notice to Danam Nagender.

Vijaya Reddy’s lawyer argued that Danam Nagender had tempted the voters during the Assembly elections, it was explained to the Court that money was distributed to the voters and cases were registered in this regard. The Tribunal which recorded the arguments, issued notices to Danam Nagender.
In the 2023 Assembly elections, Danam nagender, who contested on behalf of the BRS from Khairatabad Constituency, won against BJP candidate Chintala Ramachandra Reddy. On march 17, 2024, he said goodbye to BRS and joined the congress party in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Congress has announced Danam nagender as the MP candidate for Secunderabad in the upcoming Parliamentary elections. (Maxim News)
