On this occasion, the Deputy CM urged the people of the state to take advantage of this program launched by the state government with great determination and utilize every grain.
He said that not only is the state distributing free rice to the people, but also providing bonuses to farmers cultivating rice. He explained that the state government is spending Rs 2,675 crore on farmers cultivating rice.
While implementing these programs, he explained that the government is spending Rs 21,000 crore on farmer loan waiver, Rs 18,000 crore for farmer assurance, Rs 2,675 crore as rice bonus, and Rs 12,500 crore for 24-hour free electricity for agricultural pump sets. He said that while implementing all these, 13,525 crore is being spent to provide rice to the poor.
The youth have achieved the Telangana state by fighting for appointments. In order to make their dreams come true, we have already filled 56 thousand government jobs and are going to fill another 30 thousand jobs, the Deputy CM said. He said that the Public Service Commission has been purged and the job calendar has been released.
He said that new self-employment schemes have been launched under the name of Rajiv Yuva Vikasam with a budget of Rs 9,000 crore for the unemployed who have not received government jobs.
It was explained that the state government will move forward by announcing a calendar from the date of announcement of the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme until the sanction letter is issued.
He said that the deadline for Rajiv Yuva Vikasam has been extended till April 14 as per the continuous holidays and the request of various sections, and the time limit for the scrutiny of applications at the mandal and district levels has been announced in advance. He said that the program of issuing sanction letters will be completed in all constituencies and mandal centers in the state from June 2 to 9. He made it clear that the announced calendar will be strictly followed.
The Deputy CM explained that an action plan has been prepared to complete the training program for at least three days to a week for the scheme selected under Rajiv Yuva Vikasam and the subsequent grounding.
