Telangana: Lockdown Likely To Be Extended by Ten More Days

Hyderabad, May 29: As the lockdown imposed to control the spread of the coronavirus will conclude on May 31 in Telangana, the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is scheduled on Sunday afternoon.

According to the sources, the Cabinet will discuss the impact of lockdown, door-to-door fever survey taken up across the state to identify people with mild Covid-19 symptoms, and difficulties faced by people during the lockdown relaxation hours. Already, the CM took feedback from ministers and MLAs about ongoing lockdown. Most likely, the Telangana government may extend the lockdown by ten more days.
