Telangana Rains Alert For Six Days From Today

Hyderabad: The weather department has issued a rain alert for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It said several districts may receive rainfall from today. It also said Telangana may see rain for the next six days.

Officials said rainfall may continue till the 21st of this month. Therefore, they expect a drop in heat levels across Telangana. They also said the weather may turn cooler during this period.

Telangana Rains Alert Across Key Districts

The Hyderabad Meteorological Department said several districts may receive rainfall. These include Nizamabad, Medak, Karimnagar, Hyderabad, Nalgonda, and Adilabad. Meanwhile, officials said scattered showers may occur in these areas during the period.

They also said the expected rains may reduce summer heat. Therefore, people may see some relief from rising temperatures. However, they advised residents to stay updated with weather bulletins.

Andhra Pradesh Rains Forecast And Thunderstorm Warning

The Andhra Pradesh Meteorological Department also issued a warning. It said heavy rain with lightning may hit some districts. Officials linked the weather change to a trough and south westerly winds.

They said heavy rain with thunder may affect Manyam, Srikakulam, and Vizianagaram districts. Meanwhile, light rain may occur in several other districts. These include Polavaram, Anakapalli, Alluri, East Godavari, and West Godavari.

They also expect light rain in Sri Sathya Sai, Nandyal, Anantapur, and Kurnool. In addition, rain may occur in NTR, Guntur, Eluru, Krishna, Kakinada, Visakhapatnam, and Konaseema districts.

Officials urged people to remain alert due to possible thunderstorms. They also asked residents to take precautions during lightning. Meanwhile, they advised farmers and travellers to track updates.

The weather departments of both states said they will continue monitoring the situation. They also said they will issue further updates if conditions change.
