Telangana Ranks Second in Phone Recoveries: DG Mahesh Bhagwat

Hyderabad, April 21 (Maxim News): Telangana has secured the second spot in the recovery of mobile phones through the CEIR portal.

According to Additional DG Mahesh Bhagwat, a total of 30,049 phones have been recovered since April 19, 2023. Specifically, 4,869 phones were recovered in the Hyderabad Commissionerate, 3,078 in Cyberabad, and 3,042 in the Rachakonda Commissionerate. CEIR units are operational in 780 police stations across the state.

In the past nine days alone, a thousand phones have been recovered. Karnataka leads with 35,945 recoveries, while Andhra Pradesh ranks fourth with 7,387 phones recovered. (Maxim News)
