Telangana Road Accidents Leave Three Dead, Ten Injured

  • Telangana road accidents reported in Peddapalli and Gadwal
  • Couple, minor killed in separate crashes, police probe underway

Hyderabad: Telangana road accidents on Tuesday morning claimed three lives and left ten others injured in two separate incidents reported from Peddapalli district and Jogulamba Gadwal district. The accidents occurred in Basant Nagar of Ramagundam mandal and in Gadwal town.

In the first incident, a couple died in a road accident near Basant Nagar in the early hours. According to available details, the car in which they were travelling hit a culvert. The impact led to their deaths on the spot.

The deceased were identified as Edla Srinivas and his wife Rajitha. They were residents of Mancherial. The couple was returning from Hyderabad after meeting their daughter Rishitha, who is studying there. Meanwhile, police registered a case and began an investigation into the accident. Authorities shifted the bodies to a hospital for postmortem.

In the second incident, a road accident was reported from Jogulamba Gadwal district. A youngster died on the spot, while two others were injured. The accident occurred when a motorcycle was hit by a TGRTC bus near a petrol pump close to the railway station on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Ramu, aged 17. The injured minors, Vishnu and Vardhan, were shifted to the Government General Hospital in Kurnool for treatment. According to reports, all three were students of Sri Chaitanya College in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, police registered a case in this incident as well and initiated an investigation. The condition of the injured is being monitored as they receive treatment.

These Telangana road accidents highlight the risks on highways and city roads. Also, authorities continue to examine the causes behind both incidents. Further details are expected as investigations progress.
