‘Telangana’ Role Model For The Country: Governor

The Telangana government continues to follow the fundamental tenet of faster economic growth with a strong focus on inclusiveness to ensure that the sections of the society that were neglected in the past, receive the benefits of such growth, Governor ESL Narasimhan has said.

In his address to a joint sitting of the Telangana Legislative Assembly and Council here on Monday, the Governor said he was confident that the deliberations during the budget session of the Legislature “will be constructive and useful in evolving policies to achieve the goal of ‘Bangaru Telangana’,”.

The Governor’s address marked the beginning of the Budget Session of the state Legislature. The joint sitting of the two Houses was adjourned after the address and both the Assembly and Council will continue their sessions from Tuesday.
