Telangana Solar Energy Projects | Hyderabad, Nov. 2: Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TGREDCO) Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Jithesh V. Patil has directed officials and implementing agencies to speed up renewable energy projects across the State and achieve the prescribed targets within the stipulated timelines.
The directions come amid criticism over delays in implementing renewable energy programmes, particularly solar power projects.
On Monday, Patil held a video conference with district managers and representatives of implementing agencies to review the progress of various initiatives. He asked officials to identify field-level challenges and resolve them in coordination with the concerned departments.

The MD called for district-level action plans to meet targets under agricultural pump-set solarisation and the PM-KUSUM scheme. He instructed officials to expedite departmental approvals and complete pending inspections without further delay.
“District Managers and implementing agencies should work in close coordination to ensure timely execution of projects,” Patil said.
He stressed accountability and directed officials to ensure progress in line with the prescribed targets and timelines. He said coordinated efforts were essential for the effective implementation of the government’s priority programmes.
Patil also called for awareness campaigns across Telangana to promote energy conservation, efficient electricity use and the adoption of renewable energy sources.
