Temple And Dargah Demolished Amid High Police Security
Delhi/Hyderabad, July 2 (Maxim News): The Public Works Department (PWD) officials demolished the temple and dargah in the national Capital city of Delhi on July 2 morning.
Officials who demolished the Hanuman temple and Dargah in Bhajan Pura Chowk amid heavy police presence said that the demolition was done to pave the way for the proposed road widening project.
the anti-encroachment drive by PWD to remove the Hanuman temple and shrine in Delhi’s Bhajanpura area ended. Police said, that the decision was taken by a religious committee in Delhi to remove the two structures, and the drive was conducted with the support of the locals.
Around 6 am today, a team of the PWD department along with security forces started a drive to remove hanuman mandir and Mazars in the Chowk area. A heavy police force was also deployed to prevent any untoward incident. (Maxim News)
