Tension in Erragadda: Residents Protest Against Crematorium Land Allocation

Hyderabad, Oct 7 (Maxim News): Several residents of apartments in Erragadda staged a protest against the government’s decision to allocate land for a crematorium behind the Brigade Citadel Apartment.

BJP MP Raghunandan Rao arrived at the site to express support for the residents. However, the police prevented him and other BJP leaders from entering the land designated by the government.

The residents raised concerns over the location of the crematorium, citing environmental and safety issues, and demanded that the government reconsider the allocation. (Maxim News)
