Hyderabad: A Medchal student and a Hyderabad student emerged as toppers in the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) 2026 results announced on Sunday.
M Rushi from Medchal secured first rank in the Engineering stream with 156.63532 marks. Mukkaram Ahmed from Hyderabad topped the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream by scoring 150.177079 marks.
The results were released at JNTU Hyderabad by Advisor to Government Dr K Keshava Rao along with Telangana Council of Higher Education Chairman Prof V Balakista Reddy, Education Secretary Dr Yogita Rana, JNTU Hyderabad Vice Chancellor Prof T Kishen Kumar Reddy, Commissioner of Technical and Collegiate Education A Sridevasena and TG EAPCET 2026 Convener Prof K Vijaya Kumar Reddy.
TG EAPCET 2026 Records Strong Pass Percentage
In the Engineering stream, Bejugama Anshul from Medchal secured second rank while Maraka Vamshidhar Reddy from Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh bagged third rank.
In the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream, Taduri Nivrutt Sai Venkat from Hyderabad secured second rank and Sahiti Geetika Gunithi from Ranga Reddy stood third.
Officials said 2,10,766 candidates registered for the Engineering stream examination. Out of them, 1,97,242 students appeared and 1,44,704 candidates qualified, recording a pass percentage of 73.36 percent.
For the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream, 90,977 candidates registered for the examination. A total of 84,954 students attended and 73,294 candidates qualified, taking the success rate to 86.27 percent.

The results were made available on the official website of TG EAPCET shortly after the announcement.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof V Balakista Reddy said the counselling and admission schedule for undergraduate engineering courses in Telangana would be released within a week.
Students can check their ranks, marks and qualifying status through the official TG EAPCET portal.
