TG Hails Jagan’s Three-Capitals Plan, Wants Three Mini-Secretariats Built Before Stir Escalates
Kurnool, Dec.25 (Maxim News): BJP MP TG Venkatesh on Wednesday said Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy should set up three mini-secretariats in the three regions in the State for effective administration. He also said, “The Chief Minister should speed up the process of the establishment of the three capitals in the State before the ongoing agitation on the capital issue escalated further”.
Speaking to mediapersons in New Delhi, Venkatesh said establishment of High Court at Kurnool alone would not ensure development. He said Kurnool district in the Rayalaseema region should have winter capital too. He made it clear that they will continue their agitation till a mini secretariat was established in the Rayalaseema region. Venkatesh also said the people of Rayalaseema region were not getting justice as the current capital Amravati was not declared as a free zone as-far-as government jobs are concerned. He said they had been demanding that the State government establish a mini secretariat in the Rayalaseema ever since the State was bifurcated.
Venkatesh also said the people of his region were ready to hold massive agitation till their demand was met with by the State government. He also made it clear that they wouldn’t agree to the proposal to establish the secretariat at Vizag and said the Rayalaseema people would face a lot of problems if the capital was set up at Vizag. Stating that they were already finding it difficult to go to Amaravati on work, Venkatesh made it clear that there would be more agitations if Justice was not done to all the three regions of the State by the State government.
