Hyderabad, August 26: TGSRTC will launch dedicated night bus services on six major routes from August 29.
The services will operate mainly between 10 pm and 5 am.
They aim to support IT employees, students, hospitality workers and other late night commuters.
According to RTC officials, buses will run every 30 minutes to one hour based on demand.
TGSRTC Night Bus Services To Cover Six Routes
The identified routes include 10H between Secunderabad and Hitec City via Kondapur.
Other routes include 290U between Secunderabad and Hayathnagar and 222A between Koti and Patancheru via Hitec City.
The 219 service will operate between Secunderabad and Patancheru.
The 195W service will cover Bachupally and nearby areas.
TGSRTC plans to deploy around eight buses on each route initially.
The corporation will monitor passenger response after the launch.
It may increase or reduce bus numbers and adjust timings based on demand.
The new services are expected to provide an affordable option for people travelling after regular bus operations end.
They could also reduce dependence on private vehicles and cabs among late night commuters.
