Kothagudem/Hyderabad, June 27 (Maxim News): Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu dismissing the negative propaganda of opposition on farmers’ loan waiver said that the Congress Govt would prove them wrong by implementing a Rs 2 lakh loan waiver.

The opposition earlier too said that the Cong govt would not deposit Rytu Bandhu’s amount. The Congress govt deposited Rs 7,500 crore at one go in farmers’ bank accounts, he recalled.
Bhatti Vikramarka participated in several development works related to drinking water and roads in Kothagudem on Thursday.
Later addressing a local meeting, he said that despite several problems, the Cong government would implement loan waivers for farmers well before August and no one could prevent this. The State govt announced that a loan waiver for farmers would be implemented in August.

Rythu Bharosa said a public opinion would be gathered on who should be the beneficiaries, and how to distribute the amount and then guidelines would be formulated and tabled in the Assembly for a discussion. Legislation would be passed and Rytu Bharosa would be implemented for the farmers.
The Cong govt would be accountable for public money and would not let it be misused.
The leaders who ruled the State for 10 years had looted the Treasury and distributed the funds indiscriminately. They burdened the State with Rs 7 lakh crores and fled, he criticized.

In the Indiramma Rajyam, the government would be careful in raising every rupee and spending the government funds meaningfully.
Bhatti exuded confidence that their government would create wealth and distribute it for welfare schemes.

The previous government borrowed Rs 42,000 crore in the name of Mission Bhagiratha yet they could not provide household drinking water supply. In Kothagudem town, there is a need now to spend Rs 150 crore for drinking water supply. Similarly in Alair of Nalgonda district, the govt would have to spend Rs 150 crore for providing drinking water as the previous govt did not spend funds judiciously.
The Deputy CM assured that if there is a possibility to form a municipal corporation by merging Kothagudem and Palvancha towns, then he will take it to the notice of the State Cabinet. To address the traffic jam problem in Kothagudem town, land acquisition for laying of a bypass road has been completed, he said.

Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy sanctioned funds for the construction of ROB and the R&B Minister was striving for the construction of ROBs throughout the State.
Bhatti disclosed that plans were being formulated to construct a super-critical thermal power project in Ramagundam as adequate land, water, and coal were available. The good news would be announced soon, he said

The Deputy CM also said that he would discuss with Singareni management to provide land for the construction of the IT hub in Kothagudem. He would discuss with IT Minister Sridhar Babu and strive for the development of the tier II and industrial city of Kothagudem.
Referring to the Sitarama Project, Bhatti criticized that the previous rulers had spent Rs 9,000 crore but failed to release water to even one acre. The Cong party soon after forming a government, got the details of all pending projects and identified them as projects that could be completed in six months, one year, three years, and five years. These projects would be completed on a priority basis and irrigation facilities would be extended. Water would also be released through the Sitarama project very soon, he said. The link canal to the Wyra project was being coordinated for Rs 70 crore, he said. (Maxim News)
