Third State CPI Conference Should be Remembered Forever: Narayana

Hyderabad, June 14 (Maxim News): CPI national secretary Dr K. Narayana today said the third State conference of the party should be held in such a way that it should go down in history as a memorable event.

Stating that the Communist party still has a lot of popularity among the people of the State, he said the people of the State would still remember the armed peasant struggle held by the CPI. He called upon the party leaders to bring back the lost glory of the party through the State conference.

Addressing the invitation committee meeting of the party at the Makhdoom Bhavan, national executive committee member Aziz Pasha, Party State incharge secretary Palla Venkat Reddy and others took part in the meeting.

Targeting the BJP, he alleged that the saffron party was indulging in communal politics thereby causing violence in the country. He said the secular status of the country was now facing a threat due to the communal politics of the BJP.

He also said atrocities were being committed against SCs, STs, BCs and minorities in the country every day. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was trying to turn the country into a Hindu Raj by destroying its rich diversity and culture.

He said the economic policies of the Modi government were having a terrible impact on the lives of the people in the State.

He alleged that the Modi government was filing false cases against those who are questioning its policies, with the help of CBI and ED.

He said there was an increase in inequality, unemployment in the country and added that the farmers and daily workers were witnessing lack of peace in their lives under Modi’s rule.

Targeting Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, he alleged that the CM had failed to fulfil the promises made by him to the people of the State.

He also alleged that KCR was torturing the poor people and farmers in the name of construction of projects and added that the authorities of the State government were taking away the lands of the farmers forcefully.

He said they would hold their State conference from September 3 to 7 on the outskirts of Shamshabad. (Maxim News)
