Jagtial/Hyderabad, Aug 31 (Maxim News): A three-year-old boy, Indrala Rakshith, died of dog bites in Thungur village of Birpur mandal in Jagtial.
According to villagers, Rakshith was attacked by a group of dogs a few weeks ago. He later fell into a drainage ditch and sustained injuries. Though admitted to hospital and given treatment for his wounds, he was reportedly not administered the anti-rabies vaccine.
Four days ago, when the rains began, he began foaming at the mouth. His family shifted him to Niloufer Hospital in Hyderabad, where he died while undergoing treatment. (Maxim News)
