Hyderabad, June 16: Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KTR will visit Khammam district on June 17 to participate in a special party training camp aimed at strengthening the organisation and outlining its future strategy.
Former Khammam district in charge Takkellapalli Ravinder Rao announced the programme while addressing the media along with MLC Tata Madhusudhan on Monday.
Rama Rao will address selected party representatives at 11 am at Sriharsha Convention in Palair constituency. Former Palair MLA Kandala Upender Reddy will preside over the meeting.
Leaders from all 10 constituencies of the erstwhile Khammam district will attend the programme. Special in charges appointed by the State leadership and senior district leaders will also participate.
According to party leaders, the training camp will include 291 selected booth level representatives, digital membership in charges and constituency coordination committee members.
The BRS is also preparing to launch a fully digitised membership enrolment drive with the focus on quality over quantity.
Party chief K Chandrashekhar Rao is expected to launch a dedicated mobile application within the next few days to support the campaign.
Under the digital membership process, two designated representatives from each booth will visit households to register members. They will upload live photographs and location details through the app.
Membership fees will be collected online. Members will receive a digital receipt designed in the format of an identity card.
To monitor implementation, the party has formed five member coordination committees for every mandal across the district.
