‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ was initially titled ‘Sandaas’ : Akshay

A birdie chirps to say that the upcoming Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha was initially titled Sandaas.

Though it captured the film’s subject, the Khiladi felt it was too gross. Later, the title was changed to its English equivalent. Imagine saying Akshay Kumar’s Sandaas is due to hit the marquee.
