TPCC accuses KCR, Modi of ruining democratic bodies
Hyderabad, Jan.26 (Maxim News): TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Saturday hoisted national flag on the occasion of 70th Republic Day at Gandhi Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion, Uttam launched a scathing attack against the State and Central governments saying both of them destroyed all democratic institutions, which were built 70 years ago in the country during the last five years of their rule. Giving credit to the Congress for building all the democratic institutions, the TPCC chief said there was an urgent need to protect all those institutions in the country. He said doubts were being cast against democratic and Constitutional institutions like Supreme Court, RBI and Election Commission of India in the country.
Commenting on the defeat of the party in the recent Assembly elections, Uttam said there were several reasons for the defeat of the party in the elections and made it clear that they were not scared of the defeats while noting that neither victory nor defeat were new to them. He made it clear that they would continue to work for the welfare of the people in the days to come. He exhorted party workers to get ready for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the State. He predicted a landslide for the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections.
The Republic Day function was attended by party MLA D. Sridhar Babu, MLC P. Sudhakar Reddy, TPCC Sevadal Chief Janardhan Reddy among other leaders.’(Maxim News)
