“The Chief Minister terrorizing the people and Revanth Reddy’s arrest shows that the Election Commission was helping the ruling party. The EC has been overzealous when receiving a complaint against Congress, but completely ignoring several complaints against TRS,” Uttam Kumar Reddy said in a statement.
Revanth Reddy’s wife Geetha Reddy, in a message, called on Congress workers in Kodangal to maintain calm and teach a lesson to the government by voting for her husband and ensure his victory in the elections. Senior AICC leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, who was camping in the State for electioneering for the party candidates and Karnataka minister DK Siva Kumar also called on Geetha Reddy to enquire about the arrest.(Maxim News)
