TPCC chief holds meeting with digital membership coordinators

Hyderabad, March 4 (Maxim News): TPCC chief and party MP A. Revanth Reddy today held a meeting with the coordinators of the digital membership of the party at Indira Bhavan here. He reviewed the status of the membership in the Assembly constituencies, which are lagging behind in their targets. AICC secretary Bose Raju and other important leaders also took part in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy said the State unit of the party stood number one in the entire country by enrolling 40 lakh members. He asked the coordinators to achieve the target of 50 lakh members in the State and added that the party would come to power if it got 80 lakh votes in elections. He also said they were providing ₹2 lakh insurance cover to all the members of the party and added that they had set up a call centre to monitor the status of the Insurance scheme. He said he was appointing party leader Pavan Malladi as the coordinator of the insurance call centre.

Targeting KCR over his meeting with political strategist Prashant Kishore, he alleged that the CM was taking the help of PK as he was scared of facing a defeat in Telangana. He also alleged that cheap and degrading politics had become a norm after KCR became the CM. He made it clear that the party has 40 lakh workers, who are no less than Prashant Kishore. He made it clear that the people of the State were with the Congress party and added that the party leaders and workers should cash in on this aspect.

Revanth praised their Mancherial Assembly constituency for registering record number of members and added that Nalgonda MP constituency created a nationwide record in the entire country. He said they were considering the membership as a yardstick to identify the hard working leaders in the party as the membership target. He promised to give the party tickets to those who worked hard in achieving the membership targets and added that those leaders, who don’t work hard in achieving the membership targets would not get anything in the party. He said that he would talk to the national president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. (Maxim News)
