TPCC Demands Reforms In Education Department

Hyderabad, April 23 (Maxim News): TPCC spokesperson Addanki Dayakar said there was a need to introduce reforms in the Education department.

Alleging that the police thrashed the students, who had gone to the Board of Intermediate office to apply for revaluation, Dayakar made it clear that they were not politicizing the issue and added that they would be with the people of the State despite the fact they did not vote for them. He urged the High Court to take suo moto cognizance of the issue and file a case against the State government.

Commenting on the defection of the party MLAs issue, Dayakar alleged that the ruling TRS party was buying their party MLAs. He wondered as to what Election Commission was doing when the MLAs were being bought by the ruling party. He demanded that the Centre invoke Article 356 and remove the present government from power.

He alleged that the State police had arrested MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga as he had questioned the State government. He asked the people as to why they should vote for a government which was not caring for their children. He demanded that the State government remove State Education Minister Jagadish Reddy from his post. He also demanded that the State government constitute an all-party committee on the issue. He wondered as to why the ruling TRS party leaders were not visiting the houses of the students, who have committed suicide as they were not able to bear the shock of failure.(Maxim News)
