TPCC demands strict action against culprits in Udaipur incident

Hyderabad, June 29 (Maxim News): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee has strongly condemned the gruesome killing of tailor Kannaiahlal, on Tuesday in Udaipur and demanded stringent action against the culprits and the persons behind the conspiracy.

Talking to media persons in Gandhi Bhavan here today, TPCC senior vice-president G Niranjan said “We urge the people of Telangana State not to be provoked by this incident and to keep themselves alert and cautious with patience. Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Nation BJP president Nadda are responsible for creating this type of situation in the country. Ignoring the fact that India is a secular country, the present BJP government has been instigating communal hatred in the country. Why is Modi silent, despite growing communal tensions in the country and not expressing his “manki baath”?

Niranjan asked as to why Modi is silent on the utterances of Amith Shah, BJP National and State presidents and Chief Ministers, which are vitiating the atmosphere in the country? Those who are responsible for creating hatred between the communities are now expressing their concern and condemning the incident, but people know about their dishonesty. If they are sincere, they should deprive themselves of their activities to divide the people on communal lines.

“The BJP is planning on having an Exhibition during its national meeting in Hyderabad to exhibit the Telangana culture and Razakars atrocities. It is not understood why they are intended to exhibit about the Razakars at this juncture. If they are that much serious about the projection of Telangana history, they should also provide space for the incidents and loss of lives during the 1948 Police action period. The Society has to forget about the dark chapters of history to avoid the enmity among the communities to concentrate on the development of the Nation. Tuesday’s incident created an atmosphere of suspicion among the people and everyone is doubting each other,”, he added. (Maxim News)
