TPCC to Hold Azadi Gaurav Yatra from August 9 to 15

Hyderabad, Aug.7 (Maxim News): Congress party has decided to hold Azadi Gaurav Yatras from August 9 to 15 this month in order to celebrate the 75th Independence Day celebrations in Telangana as per the instructions of the All India Congress Committee (AICC).

State working president Mahesh Kumar Goud held a zoom meeting with all DCC presidents on the issue. CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka took part in the zoom conference from the Khammam district.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Kumar Goud made it clear that the Congress party had played a pivotal role in distributing the fruits of the freedom of the country.

He said the country had become a one of the great countries of the world today due to the hard work of the Congress party and its governments before and after the independence.

He said there was a duty on the party leaders to explain about the fights of the party leaders and the sacrifices made by them for the development of the country. He urged the party leaders to take part in the padayatra in large numbers and explain to the people of the State the sacrifices of the Congress party.

Mahesh Kumar Goud asked the DCC presidents to explain about the sacrifices made by the party leaders for achieving the freedom of the country and the role played by them after achieving the freedom.

He said the party should hold the padayatras by roping in 75 important leaders of the party and added that the padayatra should be held for 75 km.

He said the padayatra should link all the Assembly constituencies. He said the party leaders should explain about the sacrifices of the party and its leaders not only for the freedom of the country but also for its development. (Maxim News)
