Traffic Advisory Issued for Serilingampally Zone Amid RCC Box Drain Construction
Hyderabad, April 23 (Maxim News): The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has announced a traffic advisory for commuters in the Serilingampally Zone due to the commencement of RCC box drain construction work. The project, which begins on April 24, 2025, will span from the Gaffar Nagar (Nectar Garden) junction to the Durgam Cheruvu Entry Plaza and is expected to cause traffic congestion in the area.
To minimize disruption and ensure smoother vehicular movement, the Traffic Police have issued alternate route suggestions for affected corridors. Commuters and residents are advised to follow the advisory and plan their travel accordingly.
Impacted Route 1: COD Junction to I-Lab and ITC Kohenur via Nectar Garden. Alternate Route: Use Road No. 45 via Cable Bridge or other alternate paths. Advisory Timing: From 4:00 PM onwards
Impacted Route 2: IKEA, Inorbit Mall to COD via Nectar Garden, Alternate Route: Use Road No. 45 – Cable Bridge or C-Gate – Gowra – AVASA routes. Advisory Timing: From 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic – Cyberabad, Heavy vehicle movement will be strictly restricted on the affected routes during the daytime in Madhapur Division to ease traffic flow.
Authorities urge all commuters to cooperate with traffic regulations and follow designated diversions to avoid delays. The traffic advisory will remain in place until the completion of the construction project.
