TRS Ex-MLA Nallala Odelu Joins Congress
Hyderabad, May 19 (Maxim News): TRS Ex-leader Nallala Odelu today joined the Congress party in the presence of party’s national leader Priyanka Gandhi in New Delhi. ZP chairperson of Mancherial Nallala Bhagya Laxmi also joined the Congress party.
Some important leaders of the TRS from the Mancherial district joined the Congress party along with former MLA, said TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy, TPCC election management committee chairman Damodar Rajanarasimha, former whip E. Anil Kumar, Youth Congress national general secretary Anil Yadav and others were present on the occasion.
Odelu won as MLA in 2009 and 2014 on TRS symbol. He served as Government Whip after he became MLA in 2014. In 2010, he tendered resignation to MLA post and won again in by-election. Differences with the TRS leaders, especially with MLA Balka Suman in Chennur Assembly constituency made him to quit the TRS. Moreover, Odelu was unhappy with the TRS leadership for not giving MLA ticket to him in previous elections. (Maxim News)
