TRS Government plans to organize mass rallies across on Sept 16

Hyderabad, Sept.7 (NSS): With the TRS government deciding to organise a three-day long National Integration Day Celebrations in a grand manner from September 16, officials are now gearing up to make elaborate arrangements for the programme.

Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on Wednesday held a meeting with officials at BRKR Bhavan here and reviewed the arrangements.

On the occasion, he directed the officials to make elaborate arrangements for the programme and to ensure that three-day events should go off without any hitch.

The Chief Secretary said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would hoist the national flag at public gardens on September 17 as part of the Telangana National Integration Day and would also inaugurate Banjara and Adivasi Bhavans in the city.

A huge rally will be held from Necklace Road in which artists performing around 30 different art forms like Gussadi, Gond and Lambadi dance forms will also participate. Later, the Chief Minister will address a public meeting.

During the meeting, officials were directed to conduct mass rallies with students, youth and women in all the Assembly constituencies on September 16. Similarly, cultural programmes should be held in all the district headquarters on September 18.

GAD secretary Sheshadri, secretary PR&RD Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Secretary Textiles Jyothi Buddha Prakash, Secretary Tribal Welfare Christina Z Chongthu, Secretary TR&B Srinivasa Raju, Secretary Finance Ronald Rose, Protocol Additional Secretary Arvinder Singh, Commissioner PR&RD Hanmantha Rao and other officials attended the meeting.
