TRS leaders Mahender Reddy, Raju file nominations for MLC polls

Hyderabad, Nov.22 (Maxim News): TRS candidates today filed their nominations for MLC post under local bodies’ quota in the state. Shambhipur Raju and Patnam Mahender Reddy submitted their nominations to the officials concerned for the MLC polls.

The Election Commission announced the schedule and issued a notification for the polls. The nominations will be accepted till Nov 23, scrutiny will be done on 24. Also the candidates can go for withdrawal of their nominations if any on 28 as per the notification.

The polls for 12 MLC posts are to be held on Dec 10 and results to be announced after four days on 14. The chief Minister and TRS boss K Chandrasekhar Rao has offered a chance to 7 new leaders and retained five old ones for the MLC posts. The Chief Minister recently conducted a brainstorming session for the ministers of nine old districts except Hyderabad district on the MLC polls. Informing the TRS poll strategy, KCR directed them to coordinate with local leaders to win the polls and get all 12 seats in the TRS kitty.

The ruling party leaders submitted their nominations to the Ranga Reddy district collector in the city here. The ministers and TRS leaders who attended the program include Sabitha Indra Reddy, Ch Malla Reddy, MLC Vani Devi and others. (Maxim News)
