Hyderabad, June 4 (Maxim News): The TRS suffered defeat at Chinna Mulkanur village in Karim Nagar district in the local body polls. An independent candidate Rajesham won the polls in the village that was adopted by TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
BJP’s Raju won the polls in Pothangal in Nizamabad district of former MP Kavitha. The polls held in three phases in all districts on May 6, 10 and 14 respectively. The poll body conducted the polls in a peaceful manner to fill 5659 MPTCs and 534 ZPTCs across the State. As per the poll results, the TRS is on winning streak and is set to clinch majority of the ZPTCs and MPTCs. Of the total seats, the TRS was leading in 3042 MPTCs and 44 ZPTCs, Congress in 1101 MPTCs and 3 ZPTCs, BJP in 20, TD in 487 places. (Maxim News)
