TRS MPs Stage Protest At Parliament

Hyderabad, Sept.17 (Maxim News): TRS MPs today staged a protest at Parliament demanding the centre release GST arrears.

They held placards at Gandhi Statue in front of the parliament while winter session was going on in national capital.

They raised sligans, against the BJP government in the Centre for ignoring views of the states. The TRS MPs and others sought the centre to clear GST arrears as per the act.

In 41 GST meeting held in Delhi recently, they demanded for the same.

The centre is using surplus of the funds and asking the states to get loans when the funds are less, they charged.

They warned to intensify protests if the centre fails to head to their just demand. The MPs protested were of Trinamool Congress, AAP, NCP, SO, DMK, Shiva Sena, SP and others. (Maxim News)
