TRS Will Have Cake-Walk In LS polls: KTR
Hyderabad, March 8 (Maxim News): TRS working president KT Rama Rao said the party would win more votes in Karimnagar parliamentary constituency than Medak seat. TRS has no opponent in LS polls and competition was securing majority seats, he said.
Speaking at party preparatory meeting at Medak parliamentary seat along with former minister T Harish Rao, TRS working president said this time the TRS will win the polls unilaterally. He also asked Harish Rao to win more votes in Medak segment than that of Karimangar segment in the LS polls. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was representing the Gajwel segment and Harish and other leaders have to strive for win with huge majority, he said. He also said there are no differences with Harish Rao and both are working for the party victory.
While the Centre was denying funds to the infant Telangana State, it was liberally releasing funds for its alliance partners of the NDA. “We can achieve our rights by winning 16 MP seats”, he said, adding that no other government launched welfare schemes for farmers in the country and other States were copying our schemes. Though India used to follow West Bengal model of development so far, now it was following Telangana model, he claimed.
“Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bhima of our State were being followed by other States and also the Centre”, he said. Though Niti Ayog recommended to the Centre to give funds to the Telangana State for its programs, the Centre failed, he said. “To avoid such a problem, we have to win all the seats and achieve rights and see the flow of the funds”.
Harish Rao said Medak and Siddipet have become districts with the efforts of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Harish Rao also said the two districts will get rail facility in two months. Gajwel segment was developed as an ideal place in the country as KCR is son of the soil. “To extend thanks to KCR, we must win with five lakh vote majority in the Lok Sabha elections and party leaders and workers have to work for this, he said. Medak will turn green with Kaleshwaram waters in a few months and get past glory back. (Maxim News)
