TRS will not win even 11 seats: Uttam

Hyderabad, May 28 (Maxim News): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Capt N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has described the survey conducted by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao as totally bogus and claimed that TRS could not win even 11 seats, forget about winning 111 seats, if elections are held immediately.

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan here on Sunday, Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the “survey” was nothing but a tool, often being used by the Chief Minister, to divert people’s attention from failures. He said if KCR was so confident on the findings of the survey, then he should immediately go for fresh elections. Else, he should at least make all defected MLAs resign from their posts and face by-elections. “KCR will never take that risk because he knows that the survey was completely bogus and its findings were figments of his weird imagination,” he said.

Expressing wonder, he said what exactly has been prompting KCR to conduct surveys on popularity once in every two months. He said governments survive not on the basis of popularity, but only performance. He said instead of strengthening the systems to serve the people in a better manner, KCR is only focussed on electoral gains for the last three years.

Uttam Kumar Reddy said that AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, while addressing ‘Telangana Praja Garjana’ meeting at Sangareddy on June 1, would release the Chargesheet against the failures of TRS Government during the last three years in the State. He said he would also expose the failures of BJP Government at the Centre. He alleged that both, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister KCR have failed to fulfil the promises they made with the people during elections. He said Telangana people had more expectation and hoped that their lives would be transformed with the formation of new State. However, he said all sections, including students, unemployed youth, farmers, workers, etc., were completely disappointed with the performance of TRS Government.

He said that in the name of making Bangaru Telangana, KCR has turn his family into a Bangaru family with all his relatives settled on top posts. He said corruption has crossed all barriers in the implementation of irrigation projects, Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha and other schemes.

Uttam Kumar Reddy, along with AICC Secretary Dr.C. Kuntia, Leader of Opposition in Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Greater Hyderabad Congress president D. Nagender and TPCC Secretary Azmatullah Hussaini, released the route Map of AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi’s visit on June 1. He said Rahul Gandhi will arrive at Begumpet Airport at 3.30 PM and enroute he will pay floral tribute to former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi Statue at his statue Somajiguda. He said Rahul Gandhi will reach Sangareddy in a massive bike rally which would pass through Kukatpally, BHEL cross roads and Patenchru to reach Sangareddy at about 5 PM.

The TPCC chief also released a Urdu poster on Rahul Gandhi’s visit prepared by GHCC Minorities Dept chairman Shaik Abdullah Sohail. TPCC Spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin was also present. (Maxim News)
