Trump Continues To Deny Election Defeat As Biden Ready To Take Office

US President Donald Trump still refuses to accept the results of the election, as he spent Saturday golfing, waving to supporters, and tweeting unverified conspiracy theories about widespread voter fraud. President-elect Biden meanwhile is pushing ahead with preparations to assume office in January.

In a tweet, Trump said that hundreds of thousands of people are showing their support in Washington DC. “They will not stand for a rigged and corrupt election,” he stated. Meanwhile, Joe Biden tweeted, “I am the president-elect, but will not be president until next year.” He urged the Trump administration to take steps for the prevention of Covid spread.
