Hyderabad, June 9 (Maxim News): As many as 82.47% candidates in Engineering stream and 93.01% students in Agriculture and Medical stream have qualified in the TS-EAMCET results declared here on Sunday.
More than 1.31 lakh students had appeared for the Engineering entrance test and 1.08 lakh of them have qualified. Likewise, 63,758 out of 68,550 candidates, who took test in Agriculture, Pharmacy and allied group (AM), have qualified. Empati Kushwanth of Bhupalpally district and Kurisetti Ravi Sri Teja of West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh have bagged first ranks in AM and Engineering streams respectively.
Announcing the results here today, Telangana State Council of Higher Education Chairman Prof. T Papi Reddy and JNTU(H) Vice Chancellor A. Venugopal Reddy said EAMCET admission counseling is likely to commence from June 20. The EAMCET results were expected to be released by May 18 but were delayed due to revaluation processes of TS Inter Results 2019. While some 2.17 candidates registered for the exam of which 1.42 lakh appeared for the Engineering test, 74,981 for Agriculture and Pharmacy test and 235 appeared for both.
Kurushetty Ravi Sri Teja from Tadepalligudem secured top rank with 150.80 marks in the entrance exam. Second and third ranks were secured by Hyderabad boys B. Chandrasekhar and G. Akash Reddy with 148.77 and 145.50 marks respectively. (Maxim News)
