Hyderabad, Sept.15 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today informed that the government has released Rs 284 cr towards incentives to farmers supplying milk to dairies.
The state government began a scheme to help 2.13 lakh milk supplying farmers he said. He said that the government offers subsidy of 50 percent on milching Buffalos to help farmers.
During question hour in the Assembly, the minister said that Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao has special interest in developing dairy wing its products. He informed that like no other state, Telangana us offering Rs 4 incentive on one litre of milk being supplied by the farmers. The government is for the cause of the dairy industry as Vijaya dairy is now on right track of development he said.
A mega dairy will be started soon in Maheshwaram area in Ranga Reddy district to push the dairy industry he claimed. The KCR government offers funds for dairy development and corona problem delayed related works, he added. (Maxim News)
