TSiPASS best, Centre failed on federal spirit: KTR

Hyderabad, March 10 (Maxim News): IT & Industries Minister KT Rama Rao today slammed the Centre for failing to support the State to develop and claimed that Telangana surpassed the nation in terms of industry, finance and IT development.

In the Assembly, the minister said the government announced “Jobs’ Kumbha Mela” and not just “Jobs Jathara”. As the leader of the House, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced to fill 80039 jobs. “Those who believe in the jobs will study and compete and those who believe in Modi’s two crore jobs a year can prepare for them. The BJP is spreading falsehood and claim the schemes of crores and make things of pakodis”, he ridiculed.

KT Rama Rao said there are good coaching centers and training given to the job aspirants. He asked the MLAs to start giving coaching at their segments and districts with government cooperation. The Centre is failing to follow cooperative federalism despite its promises and schemes, he criticised.

In the Assembly, KTR said TSiPASS is the best scheme in the country as it gives all permissions to the new companies in just 15 days. He said the companies coming to invest and start the businesses of their choice by getting permissions in two weeks and on the 16th day the permissions are deemed to have been given. “There is no need for any recommendations as the companies can start their business in our State”, he claimed.
“We have so far created about 16 lakh jobs in the private sector and the government announced to fill 91,000 jobs in the government. He criticised that the Centre in spite of coming up with several schemes is now selling out the PSUs and other entities to help the corporate sector and dumping the poor and farmers”, he said. KTR ridiculed the Centre for giving only Rs 3 cr for NIMZ at Zaheerabad in 2016 and Rs 5 cr to NIMZ at Pharma City in five years in 2017.

KTR slammed the Centre for failing to give jobs to the youth and in extension of help and support to the State. “Our government made repeated appeals to the Centre to no avail for ITIR, funds for NIMZ and several others”, he criticised. He also took potshots at the BJP Government at the Centre for not keeping the jobs promise to fill two crore posts every year. What happened to the jobs offered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as people did not get about 14 crore jobs in seven years, he asked. “With multiple schemes, we are giving all support to various sections of people and focusing on development and welfare. The Centre literally denies support to the State which is spending huge funds for welfare, irrigation, agriculture and other sectors. (Maxim News)
