Centre release whitepaper on 15 lakh jobs, TS on growth path: Harish

Hyderabad, March 10 (Maxim News): Finance Minister T Harish Rao today accused the BJP Government at the Centre of failing to fill 15 lakh jobs under its purview.

Talking in the Council during a debate on budget, the Finance Minster demanded that the Centre should release a whitepaper on the vacant jobs. He took serious exception to the Opposition parties for spreading falsehood. Harish Rao clarified that Biswal Committee gave report on PRC and related matters and the Chief Minister taking steps for doing justice to all job holders in various departments, districts and zones. He gave details that about 54,000 posts in the private sector were shown as zero in the committee report and about four lakh jobs in the government as per norms.

As per committee report, 85,880 posts are to be filled and the government gave all details and the Chief Minister gave its details to fill them up. We filled 1.30 lakh jobs so far and will fill 80,039 posts as notified. The Centre should give clarity and release a whitepaper and the BJP leaders should demand PM Modi about the jobs he promised, he added.

Harish Rao accused the Centre of failing to keep the promise of jobs. The Modi Government promised to give two crore jobs a year, he said and asked the BJP leaders to give clarity whether they offered 14 crore jobs in seven years. The Centre, he said, should release a whitepaper on the same and give clarity to the people in this regard, Harish Rao said. As the BJP Government at the Centre not keeping the jobs promise to fill two crore posts every year, what happened to the jobs offered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as people did not get about 14 crore jobs in seven years. He sought to know as to why the Cent is not extending support to the State despite its repeated appeals. The Minister said no one believed about our welfare schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi

Mubarak, KCR Kits, pensions, lakes revival, potable water in villages, and others. Harish Rao claimed that 11 lakh plus families got KCR Kits for institutional deliveries and 10 lakh plus families got financial assistance for marriage under its scheme. The government gave financial assistance to more than 10 lakh families as it offered Rs 1 lakh to poor girls towards marriage, he claimed. “Since we have achieved our state and striving hard to develop it with a focus on welfare the government offers its fruits to the people”, he claimed. He attributed the schemes to the vision of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. “The Centre is not offering any support to our State for its projects, institutions, colleges and other sectors”, he charged. “If they have love on the State, the BJP leaders should mount pressure on the Centre to give funds for the projects. The minister slammed the BJP and the Congress for trying to malign the image of the State government on schemes and gaining mileage through falsehood. (Maxim News)
