Twelve Held For Mining, Transporting Sand In Adilabad
Adilabad/Hyderabad, April 12 (Maxim News): A dozen persons were booked for allegedly mining and transporting sand from the Penganga River at Sangvi village in Jainath Mandal on Friday. Three trucks and an earth mover were seized.
In a statement, Adilabad DSp L.Jeevan Reddy said that a case was registered against Gangadhar, Shaik Mosin, Venkatesh, Satish, Vengala Thirupathi Reddy, Rakesh Reddy, Konda Laxmazn, Gnaneshwar, pendur Ganesh, Pendur Madhav, Nagula Naresh and another person for explicitly mining and transportation of the sand from the river without obtaining prior permission from competent authorities (Maxim News)
