Clash Between Prisoners In Court: Undertrial Prisoner Died

Two prisoners on remand slit the throat of the undertrial prisoner and seriously injured him. However, the prisoner died today (Thursday), officials said.
The three were initially kept in cell number 8 of Tihar jail. However, when they were brought to Delhi’s Saket court for questioning on Wednesday, two other prisoners tried to attack an undertrial prisoner. In this process, the prisoner, Aman, was slitting his throat.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died today, officials said. According to officials, a fierce clash broke out between the two groups in the court lockup, which led to a tense situation. (Maxim News)
