Karimnagar/Hyderabad, April 6 (Maxim News): The police have accelerated the investigation into the Karimnagar twin murder case. The Karimnagar Rural Police have recently arrested three more people involved in the murder of the children. The parents and brother of the main accused Srisailam, who were involved in the murder, have been arrested. The police say that it will be known after the FSL report comes whether the accused drugged the children before throwing them into the well. They have decided to take strict action against discrimination against girls. They said that steps will be taken to ensure that the accused are given.
According to the police and the children’s mother, Kachhu Srisailam and Mounika are husband and wife from Jubilee Nagar. Four years ago, the couple had twin girls. Mounika started being harassed since the girls were born. Her husband Srisailam, in-laws Lavanya and Ashok, and Rakesh used to show her hell for raising girls. Moreover, Srisailam also tortured the twins. When their father came home, the twins would hide in fear. Srisailam, who did not like girls, decided to kill them with the help of his parents.
On the 3rd of this month, he took the children to the field. He pushed both of them into the well there. One child drowned. Another child tried to swim out. Noticing this, Srisailam jumped into the water. He brutally drowned the child and killed him. He pretended to be saving his dead daughter.
