Hyderabad, May 2 (Maxim News): Commissioner’s Task Force sleuths apprehended two cricket betting organizers identified as Mohd. Razi Siddiqui and Kamal Kishore Varma, while they were accepting cricket betting at Flat No.4, Mohamud Gulshan Apartments, beside Masjid-e-Osmania, King Koti and seized cash of Rs 51,500, one TV, one setup box, two remotes, one calculator, one Tab, one Wi-fi router, one pen, one Line Phone make Nokia and three Cell Phones from their possession.
Principal accused Mohd. Razi Siddiqui was organizing Cricket betting since last three months and collecting betting amounts directly and indirectly through cell phones from the punters in Hyderabad. Kamal Kishore working for Mohd Razi Siddiqui, used to take the calls from the punters on phones and also write betting amounts in the registers.
On Wednesday, the accused were running Cricket betting on the premises of Mohd.Razi Siddiqui at Flat No.4, Mohamud Gulshan Apartments, beside Masjid-e-Osmania, King Koti and accepting Cricket betting over cell phones by watching in T.V. on ongoing IPL-2019 Cricket match in between Chennai Super Kings Vs Delhi Capitals teams playing at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. The sleuths raided the premises and seized the incriminating material from the possession of the accused.
The accused along with seized property were handed over to the SHO, Narayanaguda PS. The raid was conducted under the supervision of P. Radha Kishan Rao, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, by B. Gattu Mallu, Inspector of Police, West Zone Team with the assistance of SIs P. Mallikarjun, L. Bhaskar Reddy, B. Durga Rao, Md. Mujaffar Ali and the staff of West Zone Team, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
